Customizable Authentication Methods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With their Cortado ID, MDM administrators gain access to the management portal. Different authentication methods can be defined for all administrators in the organization. This can be used, for example, to enforce the use of 2-factor authentication and to prevent the use of external providers such as Google. This increases security when accessing the administration portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Managed iOS\/iPadOS apps on BYOD devices can now only be deleted via the BYOD app<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If private iPhones and iPads are integrated into Cortado MDM as part of a BYOD policy, users can only uninstall the managed, optional apps via the BYOD app. This allows device users to continue using optional apps privately when they are not being used for business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enhanced Exchange Profile for iOS\/iPadOS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Exchange profile for iOS\/iPadOS has received an update and now supports all currently available configuration options. These include the option for the modern authentication method OAuth, extended S\/MIME configurations for signing and encrypting emails and options for restricting the applications email, contacts, calendar, reminders and notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
