In part 4 of our blog series “Employees and their smartphones”, we talked to our Sales Account Manager Sophia Alexandridis about her iPhone 12 smartphone and her favorite apps.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First of all, what phone do you use and why did you choose this particular phone? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sophia: I have an iPhone 12. I had the iPhone 8 for several years before and when the iPhone 12 came out, I wanted an upgrade with a better camera and more storage. The iPhone 12 was a good fit for me because it wasn’t quite as expensive as the Pro variants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you love most about your phone? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I like the camera, the intuitive user interface – I love that in all Apple products. I like the speed, but also the look and the color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why exactly did you choose this phone? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It offers everything I expect from a smartphone, and on top of that, it just looks beautiful.  Since I really enjoy working with Apple products, both privately and professionally, it was clear that I would choose the iPhone 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there anything that could be improved? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’m sure there is, but I can’t think of anything offhand, I’m very happy with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you also use your smartphone for work?  Do you participate in Cortado’s BYOD program? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yes, that’s a good thing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What exactly do you do with your phone especially in a work context?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I make a lot of calls on my smartphone in a professional context and also often check my e-mails while I’m on the road. I also use teams frequently for internal communication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your favorite apps? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I don’t think I have a specific favorite app. If I had to choose from a personal point of view, I would probably name a social media app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever lost your phone and if so, what did you do? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes I lose sight of it or misplace it in my own apartment. Then I ping it with my Apple Watch \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a smartphone on your wish list when you retire your current one? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since iPhones are very durable and I’ve only had mine for 1 year, I’m not planning on buying a new one for now. At some point, however, it will be one of the new iPhones again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
