New iOS 15 Security Policies
Copying and pasting of content can now also be centrally controlled and restricted according to the policies of the managed and unmanaged apps. Translations from Siri can also be regulated to take place on the device and not transfer data via the cloud.
New “Shared” iPad Features
When using the “Shared iPad” option, guest sessions can now be offered without users having to log in with a Managed Apple ID. In addition, a timeout period can be set so that devices automatically log off when not in use.
Automatically Update iOS Apps
Apps can now be automatically updated on both User-Enrolled devices (BYOD) and fully-managed devices.
Google Maps Integration for Lost Mode
When lost mode is activated, the last device location can now be displayed via a direct integration with Google Maps from the Cortado MDM console.
