New: Android device enrolment now with automatic Wi-Fi setup

The device enrolment QR code in the management portal now includes all the necessary settings to automatically connect fully managed Android devices to Wi-Fi.

Our latest MDM update introduces a significant improvement to the enrolment process for fully managed Android devices in Corporate-Owned, Business-Only (CBO) or Corporate-Owned, Personally-Enabled (COPE) mode.

Previously, users had to enter the Wi-Fi access data themselves when registering their fully managed devices for the first time. This step is no longer necessary if you store the data in the Cortado management portal in the Android Enterprise settings.

The enrolment QR code displayed in the management portal now includes all the necessary Wi-Fi settings required to connect the mobile device. This enables a seamless and error-free initial commissioning of the devices, significantly reducing the time and effort required by the IT department.
